You heard it here first.
The picture stinks, but you get the idea. Harry Potter Lovers Unite! Unique Yarns will be carrying the Opal line of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince sock yarn! (YAY!!!) The yarn will arrive in the store sometime in the Fall of ‘08 in plenty of time for you to knit yourself a pair of socks to wear to the movie. You can see pictures of the available colors here. I believe that there will be eight different colorways representing a different HP character. Now I fully admit that I have been an HP fan since the very first book came out, but I am beyond excited about this sock yarn. The knitting world is all a buzz about this yarn. Ravelry has a Harry Potter Lovers group that has been talking about it for quite some time now and you’ll be able to get it HERE! The Opal rep was here last week and had pictures of the display and the yarn colorways. It’s gonna be cool. I’ll keep you posted as we get more information.
