Berroco Trunk Show!
The UPS man was banging on the door about 9:30 this morning eager to deliver a box full of Berroco Trunk Show goodness. The show features items from the Nora Gaughan Volume 2 book and uses some of their new fibers like Linen Jeans and Seduce. (Which, of course, we have a grand stock of!) Once we got the box open and saw all the great new, innovative designs we decided that Winniy (more about Winniy in my next post) needed to model each and every one. Over the next few days I’ll feature some of the pics I took of Winniy and give you some info on the garment and fiber used. We had such a good time seeing how things looked on her and taking pictures that we wanted to include you in the fun.
Pictured above is Winniy (isn’t she beautiful?) wearing Pleat knitted with Linen Jeans. I haven’t had the pleasure of knitting with the Linen Jeans yet, but I think there will need to be something using it in my future. We have 8 colors in stock including the one used in the sample, 7403 Unbleached Muslin. There are 80yds on the skein, 70% Rayon, 30% Linen, $7 a skein. You really need to come in and give this one the touch/sqeeze test. It has a nice hand and lovely drape. Hand wash, but hey, that’s no big surprise and worth the effort.
In other news, the June/July class schedule should (please, let it me true) be up on the website by Monday. We’ve got some fun classes for summer lined up.
Peaceful knitting,
Holly
